This policy of the Advisor Research Group Inc (“ARG”) explains our policies and procedures for the collection, security, use and disclosure of personal information of its clients, prospects, suppliers, partners and affiliates. By downloading and/or using software, tolls and content from ARG clients, prospects, suppliers, partners and affiliates acknowledge that they will be bound by this Privacy Policy.

ARG collects information by various means of its clients and related partners; it includes but is not limited to contact details (name, address, phone, email), commercial relationships (employer, parent company, staff members), credit card information (number, expiry, CVV code).

This information is collected via email, telephone and video conference.  These communiques are often recorded and/or retained for quality assurance, surveying, training and accuracy purposes.

ARG may from time-to-time aggregate this information, making it anonymous (not linked to specific or identifiable individuals). This unidentifiable information may be made available to third-parties.

The identity of ARG’s corporate clients and/or the employer or the affiliation of our individual members to corporate firms is not considered to be personal or confidential, and may be disclosed for promotional and marketing purposes.

ARG does not share personal information with third-parties except as disclosed in this policy. ARG may provide personal information to its consultants, subcontractors or professional partners to assist ARG in its provision of services.

Personal information will be stored electronically and on-paper, and will be stored with security measures appropriate to its value and confidentiality. No system’s security can be guaranteed, but ARG endeavours to protect all information from unauthorized, damaging and criminal uses.

Individuals may review their personal information on-file with ARG by contacting an ARG representative. Standard security measures to verify the identity of the individual making the inquiry will be performed, before any information is released.

Cookies are used by ARG for the convenience of its users. They are used to facilitate access of ARG’s online services, authenticating the user, for example. ARG members may turn off the cookie feature, but may find themselves challenged repeatedly for username and password credentials to protect ARG from unauthorized use, and to track a user’s visits, information accessed, preferences to facilitate improvements in the ARG service.

ARG often includes links to other websites and its sources within its articles. ARG members must understand that the Privacy Policies of those destination websites are separate from ARG's policies. ARG assumes no responsibility for the use of another website by a user who connected to that site through the guidance or direct linking of our material or services.

ARG may amend this policy from time to time. Each time a material change is made its members will be contacted to obtain their consent and agreement.

ARG may be required to disclose personal information to comply with legislation or legal processes, should this be required, appropriate security measures will be undertaken to ensure that information transferred meets the specific request and that the recipient takes responsibility for its safety.
